Schedule/Shifts: Full-Time (1.0 FTE), Day/Evening and Overnight schedules available, weekend hours included!
Location: Hospital/Clinic settings in Alexandria, MN.
Pay rate: Up to $85, depending on experience!
This is considered a temporary assignment that is an open-ended vacancy! Relocation/travel stipends in addition to the pay rate will be considered for non-local candidates!

What we ask of you:
- Perform clinical assessment and diagnostic sonography examinations including breast, ABI and other sonography examinations, screen patients before exam for any precautions or contradictions pertaining to the exam.
- Review the requisition for examination in order to be aware of procedure requesrted, clinical history, patient condition or special requirements, and use cognitive sonographic skills to execute procedures as appropriate to anatomical, pathological and diagnostic information and images.
- Use independent judgement during the sonographic exam to differentiate between normal and pathologic findings, and initiate additional ultrasound imaging procedures facilitate optimum diagnostic results.
- Analyse sonograms, synthesize sonographic information and medical history and communicate findings to the physician.
- Maintain a positive attitude and working relationships with radiology team, follow physician instructions precisely, and accurately maintain patient records within Radiology Information System (RIS).
- Maintain a clean work area promoting good safety habits for patients and co-workers, and maintain ultrasound equipment in good working order, clean and disinfect after each use. Maintain adequate supplies as needed.
- Complete exam billing and help supervisor gain support for unit goals and plans.
- All other duties as assigned.
What we require of you:
- Graduate of a formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or Cardiovascular Technology Program that is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or Acrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES).
- Active certification by American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
- Bachelor of Science degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography is preferred.
- Advanced registry in Vascular, Abdomen, OB and Breast imaging is preferred.
- Bilingual preferred but not required.
